About the event
Mindfulness Meditation is considered the heart of Buddhist meditation, but its essence is universal and of deep practical benefit to all. In essence, mindfulness is about wakefulness, to the present moment. It is awareness that arises through paying attention, on purpose, in the present moment, non-judgmentally, in the service of self-understanding and wisdom. When we add Zazen to the fundamental Mindfulness technique, we practice to expand our awareness to encompass as many contexts of the present moment, and the larger Truth as we can. We’ll do an in-depth exploration and practice to bring the 9 Tenets of Mindfulness into your Life.
